The Effect of Alopurinol on Blood Urea Nitrogen and Creatinine Serum Levels in Patients with Chronic Kidney Disease

CKD has become health problem throughout the world its implementation provides considerable economic burden on system. The decreasing value GFR (glomerular filtration rate) in can cause uric acid retention so that serum levels increase (hyperuricemia). Hyperuricemia occur due to an urinary metabolism (overproduction), decrease expenditure (underexcretion), or combination both. group antihyperuricemic drugs have good effectiveness long-term safety xanthine oxidase inhibitors. commonly used inhibitor drug allopurinol. purpose this study was determine whether there effect allopurinol patients. results are expected provide input treatment hyperuricemia patients reduce progression CKD.
